なつかしい
Natsukashii. (Nah-tsu-ka-shii) is a very positive thing. It's a word that describes a fond memory or recollection that makes you feel warm and sweet. It's not about longing or sadness. It's a gentle word about the power of beautiful, happy memories.
This is the heart of Studio Margonette. We are not living in a easy time in the World's collective history. Studio Margonette is a small spot of bright light, a little place where warmth and loveliness exist. A haven.
Studio Margonette is the culmination of Jo's life experiences and training. She has an honours degree in Fashion and Textile design ( with a passion for Fashion History )and worked as a Textile Designer in the Australian Fashion Industry as well as doing all sorts of things from being an Archivist Motion Picture Restorer to A Protocol Officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to running a specialty Military Bookshop in the heart of Sydney.
Studio Margonette has been decades in the making. Jo's love of History, comics, dolls, design and vintage aesthetics have all been fused together to form Studio Margonette. Products made with the spirit of Natsukashii and for kids from 1 - 102.
All of Jo's designs and products are created and designed by Jo. They have been refined by her AI assistant, and based entirely on her own unique style. Created in Jo's studio or bedroom, Jo has been able to build Studio Margonette the way she has wanted to, and have it look the way she wants it to. The voyage to here and this sight has been a long one, and there have been others who have been hired to help, tried to help or tried to steal. Good people and the not so good,
It's been on stormy seas that this voyage has been embarked on, there are still more adventures to come. It's going to be fun to see where we finally land.

Jo はファッション＆テキスタイルデザインのオナーズ学位を持ち（特にファッション史に情熱があります）、
オーストラリアのファッション業界でテキスタイルデザイナーとして働いてきました。
また、フィルムアーカイブの修復技師、
オーストラリア外務貿易省のプロトコルオフィサー、
そしてシドニー中心部でミリタリー専門書店を運営するなど、
さまざまな仕事を経験してきました。
Studio Margonette は、何十年もかけて形になってきたものです。
Jo の歴史への愛、コミック、ドール、デザイン、ヴィンテージ美学への想いが融合し、
Studio Margonette という世界が生まれました。
“なつかしい”の精神を込めて作られた、1歳から102歳の“子どもたち”のためのプロダクトです。
Studio Margonette のデザインや商品は、すべて Jo が一から作り上げたものです。
AI アシスタントによって洗練されつつも、Jo 独自のスタイルをそのまま形にしています。
スタジオや寝室でひとつずつ制作し、
Jo が望む形、望む世界観のままに Studio Margonette を築いてきました。
ここまでの旅は長いもので、
助けてくれた人、助けようとしてくれた人、
そして盗もうとした人もいました。
素晴らしい人たちもいれば、そうでない人も。
